The skills and quality of work that develop through allowing yourself to learn more at any level of practice are invaluable. Southwest Ashiatsu always offers retakes and audits for all classes because we know how important your career and your clients are to you.
See policy information and Register for Retakes & Audits below.
A Retake is full participation in all scheduled bodywork hours and optional note-taking hours. Retakes mean that you will be giving and receiving the bodywork, able to ask all the questions you have, and participate fully in as much of the lecture and note taking of class as you wish, including taking pictures and video.
All of our courses contain specific techniques, methods, & information that will be new to you, no matter when or where you took a class. Twice per year, each course is evaluated and effectively revised to keep a consistently, updated foundation of research & development that has put Southwest Ashiatsu at the highest level of quality education.
If you're experienced with or have taken a Beginning Course with another provider, you are welcome to enroll in our Introductory Course as a Retake. There are many different techniques, body mechanics, and general information taught in all of our classes that it's necessary to enter our method with the Introductory Course at any level of training outside Southwest Ashiatsu
Registration is mandatory to Retake any course.

Once you've taken a course with us, you are welcome to audit portions of the same course(s) for up to 1 year after your original class date -at no cost. After 1 year, audits are $20 per hour audited. Audits do not require bodywork given/received, and may have limited note-taking hours and questions asked dependent upon the number of registrants and other auditors in that class. No credit hours are supplied for auditing a class. You may select the portions of class you would like to hear/see again to be notified of those times in the class schedule. Auditing means you will be observing only - and for limited time frames. You may take notes, however we ask that you refrain from taking video or pictures during audits - it's absolutely ok to do so in a retake, when you are a full-participant in the class.
It is mandatory to register to audit any course in any of our locations and discuss what portions you'd like to audit with the instructor prior to class. Previous schedules for the same course may have changed since you last attended. We highly recommend retaking a course to be able to give or receive the bodywork portions of that class.
